Hello

Darrin Hoffman completed both his undergraduate and graduate studies in music at Austin Peay State University. He began his teaching career with the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System (CMCSS) in the fall of 1991 and retired after 34 years of dedicated service as a music educator.
In addition to his teaching career, Darrin is an accomplished guitarist and an active member of the nonprofit organization Cumberland Jazz Project. He performs regularly in a variety of ensembles, including big bands, small combos, Dixieland bands, and in duos and trios that support the organization’s community outreach.
Darrin finds the Music & Arts Academy and working with young students especially rewarding, as both inspire curiosity, foster personal and artistic growth, and offer the opportunity to make a lasting impact through meaningful learning experiences.
