Hello

Tyler Rose, a native of Clarksville, Tennessee, is currently in his senior year pursuing a Bachelor of Music Education at Austin Peay State University. He is a 2022 graduate of West Creek High School and has been an active member of APSU’s music community throughout his collegiate career. Tyler has performed with the APSU Wind Ensemble for seven semesters, serving as principal clarinetist in the spring of 2025. He has also performed with the APSU Symphony Orchestra, Clarinet Choir, and other chamber and large ensembles.

Tyler currently studies clarinet with Dr. Spencer Prewitt and has performed under the direction of distinguished conductors including Dr. Gregory Wolynec and Mr. John Schnettler. Beyond the stage, he is heavily engaged in student leadership, serving as President of the Student Government Association in addition to holding roles in several other organizations on campus.

His passion lies in guiding and inspiring young artists to recognize their own potential and transform it into meaningful achievements. Tyler is expected to graduate in May of 2026 and plans to continue using his artistry and leadership to make an impact in both music and education.
