René Villarreal is an Austin Peay State University graduate. Majoring in Music with a concentration in both Education and Guitar Performance. René graduated in May of 2019.

René began his classical guitar studies at Austin Peay where he performed numerous concerts that included Solos, Duo, quartet, and quintet, and octet performances with the APSU Guitar Ensemble during Ensemble concerts and APSU Guitar Fest. René was also a member of the Governor's Own Marching Band as a member of the drumline from 2014-2017.

René has spent the last three years as an Elementary music teacher in Clarksville MontgomeryCounty School System.

René is currently enrolled in and pursuing a Graduate degree from Austin Peay State University with a concentration in Guitar Performance.
